What type of music can we expect to hear on the show?
Blues, soul, country – unless it can be avoided, surf twang and weird
How did you get into this type of music?
It is a life sentence that started when I first caught sight of a red guitar and the Ronnettes.
How long have you been DJing?
Since 1990 when I did a BBC Radio 3 series on Louisiana Blues.
How did you start DJing?
I was nurturing a need to inflict my appalling musical taste on others.

No.
What has been your most embarrassing DJing moment?
Failing to recognise John Major at the BBC!
What has been your best DJing moment?
Talking to Eric Clapton.

Don’t have one – just too many
What is you all time favourite album?
Ditto.
Where do you shop for music?
Any boot sale that looks as though it might have a Johnny and the Hurricanes album.
