When are you on?
I’m on on alternate Saturday nights from 10pm to midnight.
What type of music can we expect to hear on your show?
From punk to techno, from noise to ambient and other unknown rhythmic items.
How did you get into this type of music?
By not wanting to listen to the same 10 albums for the rest of my life.
How long have you been DJing?
Infrequently and almost never.
How did you start DJing?
I haven’t really started yet.
Can we find you DJing anywhere other than on Phonic FM?
No, but I look on Phonic as my spring board to hospital radio.
What has been your most embarrassing DJing moment?
Mixing two tunes beautifully which is a rare occurrence and celebrating by stopping the wrong tune.
What has been your best DJing moment?
The first part of the above and getting most of the studio technology to work with me.
Who is your favourite artist?
This seems to be a bit of a Phonic regular – The Fall.
What is your all time favourite album?
This month it’s Trentemoller – Last Resort.
Where do you shop for music?
I try all the major and independents, you never know who has what.

Can this be the one and only Steve of Binary Star record shop fame? If so, hi sir and hope you remember me as the man who plagued you and Paul for years and kept asking for large vinyl bundles to be kept back until I could afford them! I shall listen out for your show and offer comments…!
