The North Bridge Inn Benefit gig with Melosa, Pyrates, De Tor and Ren, and D’s including the Squeeze and NONME, HUB, Friday 4 December, 8pm

Exeter’s ‘friendliest’ pub, The North Bridge Inn, is raising funds for it survival with a benefit gig at the Hub on Friday.
The North Bridge inn is fast becoming a casualty of the current economic climate and is holding the gig to try and ensure its future.
Musical highlights of the evening include Melosa, Pyrates, De Tor and Ren, plus range of DJ’s including the Squeeze and NONME.
Organisers are urging people to turn out for the gig and help save ‘Exeter’s friendliest pub’.
North Bridge Inn landlord Ed Coate said: “Everyone who drinks in the North Bridge Inn will know we have been having a few issues due to the times we live in.
“Please come along and support this gig, we need hard cash in order to keep going in these interesting times.”
The North Bridge Inn is a little place down the road from HUB on St Davids Hill.
Ed added: “It’s one of the only pubs in Exeter that you can truly say is a local pub. The North Bridge is an attitude free, relaxed, community pub were you will see the same friendly faces without fail every week – but new faces are always welcome.
“It is a place that is packed full of character, life and a very interesting mix of people from different backgrounds from all over. All with their own story and personality traits. Everyone is always very warm and welcoming.
“The North Bridge Inn is a place were everyone is welcome and a great place to meet people, have a drink and socialise.”
The North Bridge Inn benefit gig will take place on Friday 5 December at HUB, doors open at 8pm.
Tickets cost £4 and all proceeds will go towards keeping the North Bridge Inn open. There will be a couple of drinks deals on the night including £1.99 pints of XXXX until 9.30pm and 2 for 1 cocktails all night.
The North Bridge Inn also supports the Ja-Fu-Re Collective who have a show on Phonic 106.8 FM every Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm. Tune in on 106.8 Phonic FM or listen online at www.phonic.fm.
