In the past – when you know people are listening in and enjoying the show.

What has been your worst/ most embarrassing on air moment?
When I thought the pirate station I was working on was being raided; turned out the boss hadn’t put enough money in the leccy meter – I was long-gone thinking I’d escaped an SAS-style black-out assault on the premises.

    The crust on the pasty was traditionally used by cornish miners to hold the meal with their dirty hands and was then thrown away. It was often left as an offering to the spriggans, the spirits of the mines who were believed to bring miners luck and warn them of danger.
    Incidentally the best pasties in the world are pengennas pasties (Bude) - who make that great rarity a full size delicious vegan pasty!
