On Saturday 10 October the Future Sound of Exeter have been invited to run a room at the annual Amphibian event at Bristol’s Blue Mountain Club, supporting ambient legend Mixmaster Morris on his first visit to the city in fitfteen years.

Mixmaster Morris, also known as The Irresistible Force, is the world’s leading exponent of ambient music in its widest sense and he has played for and remixed everyone who’s ever attempted a chill-out alternative session, from the late John Peel to The Big Chiil to Ninja Tunes to the latest Dr Who series!

He has won countless awards for his club nights and exotic mixes and he’ll be on the decks for four hours at this special fundraiser for the Yeleni alternative cancer care centre.

FSOE mainstays DJ Ambiessence (Paul Giblin) and Bostin Powers (Nigel Pennington) will be deejaying and veejaying alongside Morris and a host of other ambient deejays from Bristol, Gloucester and Wales, expect eclectic, intelligent ambience complete with head massages and other blissful happenings in this all-nighter for a very good cause.

The night commences at 10pm and runs until 6am with an ambient dawn, ideal for a club with a roof garden…
