Ahoy! Pyrates live on FSOE Show |
In the run-up to their support slot with the amazing 3 Daft Monkeys on Saturday 5 December, salty dogs the Pyrates will be running amok live on The Future Sound of Exeter Show at 8pm on Tuesday 1 December.
Expect rousing sea shanties delivered with close harmony vocals, mandolin, guitar and plenty of Arrrghs as this fierce band of rum-swilling, cutlass wielding, musket-toting blaggards hoist the Jolly Roger, splice the main brace, scatter pieces of eight and dig for buried treasure in the Phonic FM studio.
Live, this band now feature six rebellious pyrate-dancers in their show, but you’ll have to use your imagination as dancing never really comes across on radio - and we couldn’t fit the full ship’s complement in studio anyway.
Prepare to be boarded next Tuesday… on 106.8 Phonic FM. Or listen online at www.phonic.fm.

Wow - you’ll be a pirate radio station then. Say hi to David Geddrich and co. Thank them for agreeing to play at my wedding.
