International Migrants Day |
Radio 1812 - radio marathon for International Migrants Day on Friday 18th December
By Cathy Aikinson from Radio 1812
Join us on Friday 18th December when Phonic FM takes part in Radio 1812 , a worldwide radio marathon for International Migrants Day.
Negative stories about migration and migrants are never far from the headlines, but do the public always get a balanced view? How often are the media guilty of over-simplifying the issues? The real stories are generally much more complex - and more interesting.
If you have a point of view or a story to tell, if you are or have been a migrant, in Exeter or elsewhere, or if you campaign for or work with migrants, please get in touch as soon as possible to help celebrate International Migrants Day on Phonic FM.

Tune in on Friday 18th December to hear Phonic FMs contribution to Radio 1812 .
Did you know that December 18th is International Migrants Day?
On that date in 1990 the UN General Assembly adopted the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.
