Award-winning comedienne at Exeter Phoenix, Thurs 5 Feb

Josie Long, Exeter Phoenix, Thursday 5 February 2009, 8pm

Award-winning comedienne Josie Long has a new show – All of the Planet’s Wonders (Shown in Detail) – about bizarre private collections, curiosity and enthusiasm.

It’s so full of wonder and passion for the tiny and the immense that afterwards you’ll want to get a magnifying glass and a telescope but use them at separate times.

The show was a sell-out at the 2008 Edinburgh Festival and has already been commissioned as a series for Radio 4.

Josie has appeared in Skins (including the forthcoming new series), which she also writes for, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Big Brother’s Big Mouth.

Everything she does creates a buzz with her obsessive and ridiculous stories, leaving audiences smitten with her innocent wonder and loveable madness.

Tickets cost £10 and £8 and are available from the box office of Exeter Phoenix, Bradninch Place, Gandy Street, Exeter or by calling 01392 667080.
