Phonic FM gets a life coach

Phonic FM gets a life coach

Phonic FM is to get its very own life coach, and he claims he can steer us through the credit crunch.

We have asked Trevor Emdon, who has training in both psychiatry and psychotherapy, to be our regular life coach.  He will broadcast on Carl Munson’s New Exeter Show on the first Thursday of every month beginning on August 6th.

When Trevor, 52, was interviewed on the show recently, his comments that we don’t need to worry about the credit crunch made listeners and presenters alike prick up their ears.

Worry, Trevor claimed, only makes matters worse and actually keeps opportunities at bay.  He had several tips as alternatives, and he intends to have more ideas to make us look inward rather than at "the situation."

"Success comes from inside," he said.

"You are your own greatest resource, not your job or your bank account."

He went on to declare that he firmly believes we can and should all be following our dreams and not struggling.

Is this all just Polyanna-ish optimism or a new kind of wisdom we could really live?  Trevor is keeping quiet for now. We’ll just have to tune in on August 6th to find out.
