ZubopGambia, headline act from this year’s Respect In The Park event, return to Exeter for a special night at the Phoenix on Friday 13th November.
This seven-strong band combine worldbeat, township music, jazz and reggae with the talents of two Gambian master-musicians and they went down a storm in Belmont Park this summer.
The Observer made their album ‘Live at Ronnie Scott’s’ disc of the week and described them as "Irresistible, high-spirited and full of fun" while Folk Roots magazine stated: "There’s a spark about it all which is downright infectious".
ZubopGambia will be supported by Peachy Farmer with their heady blend of original reggae and ska, with Future Sound of Exeter world DJs on hand to enable you to relive the spirit of Respect!
