IKO Supporting The Lasting Days
at The Lemon Grove

Two of the South West’s most important new bands are to share the stage on Friday 26th November at Exeter University Lemongrove. The Lasting Days, described as  “Brit-style Arcade Fire”, headline the evening with a blend of powerful alt-americana, folk and indie-rock, with lyrical boy-girl vocals.

They are already creating great waves in the Bristol music scene have recently completed a very busy summer of festival appearances and hundreds of gigs.

Iko, a band who rose from the ashes of Devon indie hero’s Buffseeds bring their hauntingly anthemic melodic rock to the venue. The band have a history of sound tracking some of America’s biggest tv shows (Greys Anatomy, The OC) and have most recently had a track appear of the massive world wide TV hit Flash Forward, earning them the ears of millions and a brand new global audience.

Iko have appeared in session on the Spitting Feathers show here on Phonic FM and will be due back next year.

The show will open with University favourites Disney Rascal who bring their lively mix of ska/punk disney covers to the Lemongrove. It’s a rare treat for Exeter to have such hotly tipped act playing the same venue and being billed as ‘melodic rock’s best kept secrets’, on Friday 26th November there will only be one place to be.
