As the Beastie Boys’ resident DJ, Mix Master Mike has contributed to all of the band’s albums over the last 12 years.
He first made his mark by winning the DMC championships three years in a row in the 90s. This established him as one of the pre-eminent DJs in the industry.
Along with DJ Qbert he subsequently founded the turntablist group, The Invisibl Skratch Piklz with DJ Apollo. He has gone on to produce albums by fellow DJs, most notably, Wave Twisters, by DJ Q-bert.
Mix Master Mike is known for his heavy-hitting bass and intricate scratch routines.
This special gig, part of the Vibraphonic Festival, won’t happen again for a long time so do not miss out!
