On this week’s show Mike will be joined in the studio by Cast Iron Jaw who are heading up the growing Westcountry hardcore.
The band will be playing us some new tracks, chatting about recording and their energy filled live shows.
Mkie will also have an exclusive interview with Arch Enemy ahead of next week’s sold out only UK indoor show this year. After one of the standout sets at this summer’s Sonisphere Festival, they return to the UK in support of their new album Khaos Legions which came out this summer.
Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band, originally a supergroup, from Halmstad, formed in 1996. Its members were in bands such as Carcass, Armageddon, Carnage, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, and Eucharist to name a few.
The band was founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, who were both originally from the influential death metal band Carnage. The band has released nine studio albums, a live album (Burning Japan Live 1999), two DVDs and three EPs. The band was originally fronted by Johan Liiva, who was replaced by Angela Gossow as lead vocalist in 2000.
