The brilliant Beautiful Days festival is just weeks away and once again plenty of Phonic folk are involved in the frivolity.
This year the Little Big Top is being run by the Future Sound of Exeter on the Sunday night and their line-up boasts a host of Phonic talent.
At 6pm Minor Planet will perform their intriguing live blend of acoustica and dub – a side-project for Melosa guitarist Tom Harrison who many listeners will also know as Phonic’s DJ Badgerstyle.
Next The Beadle will take over on the mix followed by a live set by Irish power-trio The FOS Brothers.
DJ’s Ambiessence and Bostin Powers will then do battle in a psychedelic trance mix with a difference as Floyd, Hawkwind and other classics get thrown in amongst the pulsing beats.
This is followed by a live set from System 7, guitar legend Steve’s Hillage’s acclaimed dance project, with more live action from hard trance duo Sunfish.
The night ends with Beautiful Days’ first ever silent disco, featuring Phonic’s very own Joe Rebel – and watch out for station director Paul Giblin hosting the evening as a lesser spotted alien, complete with mind-scanning device!
