Skin Tight takes us on a journey that reveals Tom and Elizabeth’s darkest secrets, deepest passions and heart breaking truths.
An ordinary couple with an extraordinary love relive the physical, violent and pleasurably episodic remembrances of their first words, first date, and first intimacy. A highly physical and fiercely romantic story of enduring love, told through the memories from the 1940’s, to present day.
The lyrical and dramatic beauty of Henderson’s script shows us Tom and Elizabeth as young and nubile, refusing to succumb to the brutality of old age and the numbing of the flesh and mind.
We observe them as childhood sweethearts swimming in the lake to the anger and uncertainty of war and their realisation that throughout the moments of doubt that life has thrown at them, as long as they can be together, they wouldn’t change a thing.
This is their final chance to say all the things they never had the chance to, until now.
