A telling insight into modern society

Cover Story by Pilot’s Thumb, Exeter Bike Shed Theatre, Thursday 28th to Saturday 30th June

After a successful run with their powerful and moving production of Touched Pilot’s Thumb bring us their new play Cover Story to Exeter as part of the Ignite festival.

Devised using their signature style of fusing the personal and political, Cover Story is another telling insight into modern day society.

Paul is a contented and confirmed bachelor living on his own when a vivacious and attractive Louise moves in next door. Their tentative friendship leads to consequences that he could never have imagined when Louise goes missing.

“They’ve got nothing on you but your all they’ve got.”

Pilot’s Thumb are a South West based theatre company committed to tackling controversial issues by work shopping and devising towards performances which are thought provoking without being dogmatic.

Louise is gregarious, Louise is popular, Louise believed in happy ever after.

Paul is a loner, Paul is odd, Paul was the last person to see her, does that make him her murderer?

Pilot’s Thumb presents a play about the devastating effects of an unresolved accusation.
