Arts on the Move Festival: June 9th, Poltimore House, Exeter

Arts on the Moves Festival, Poltimore House, June 9th noon – 10pm.

The Arts on the Move Festival is an exciting project run by the University of Exeter, as the closing event of the Ignite Week, with aims to create ‘Devon’s very own Glastonbury’: a day-long performing arts festival at Poltimore House on June 9th 2013 from noon – 10pm.

The event will feature a wide range of music, theatre, new writing, dance and film, offering the audience a chance to get involved with a wide variety of up-and-coming contemporary performance art in an exciting historic venue. Located in the beautiful 18th century Poltimore House and its grounds, the festival began as a way to raise money for and celebrate the listed building’s heritage. The festival is in its second year now and offers a showcase of student work alongside local acts to celebrate the wealth and diversity of talent in the South West.
