Auditorium line-up:

SOOM T – Soom T is an Indian artist born and raised in Scotland creating songs within the Reggae, Hiphop, Folk, Electronic and Dub genres with various experimentations centred around activist intent, spiritual enlightenment, soul evolution and unique sound wave generation and manipulation utilising the voice, word power, rhythm & melody for inner cosmic tremor inducement. Soom T is known to many for her eclectic vocal stylings & mass collaborations having shared a studio and over 50 record releases since 1999 with the likes of The Orb, T.Raumschmiere, King Creosote, Miss Kittin, The Bug, Mungos Hifi, Bus, Asian Dub Foundation and many other style defining artists, securing Soom T’s coveted position as an innovator of originally developed music discipline.

SOLO BANTON AND THE UPPER CUT BAND – After a long career in the reggae music business as a top sound-man and producer, Solo Banton began as a recording artist relatively recently after linking with Kris Kemist of Reality Shock. Kemist persuaded him to jump in the booth & record a track called “The Warning”.. the rest is history. In 2010 the debut album ‘Walk Like Rasta’ dropped & since then Solo has been permanently on the road, touring ever further afield, performing both on sound systems and with Reality Shocks’ resident Upper Cut Band.

RED STAR LION – November 4th 2006 Barbados’ newest reggae sensation Matthew Thomas, alias Red Star Lion made his first appearance on the big stage at ‘Reggae Sunset Jam’ which was held at the Barbados National Stadium. Due to the impact of his self-produced debut single “You Are The One”, Red Star Lion was given the opportunity to open the show and set the stage for Damien Marley and other internationally known artists such as “Cocoa Tea” and “Baby Cham.” Performs with the Dub Pistols and Slamboree in Festival season.

AUDIO RAZOR – An unstoppable creative machine with original tunes, solid foundation of reggae, intelligent chord progressions, thoughtful lyrics, thumping bass lines and a twist of industrial magic! Since Audio Razor formed in June 2009 as a 6-piece band, there have been a string of great gigs around the South West and beyond. They were Surface Festival 2012 Finalists, playing at the London O2 Millennium Dome. They’ve also performed at Aeon, Lapstock and Dartmouth Festivals.

STRICTLY STEPPAS – Strictly Steppas head honcho ‘Derw Tha Damaja’ has a record collection growing quicker than the economic crisis, the man behind it all has an unhealthy obsession with collecting & sharing the music he loves. Wicked selecta.
