When are you on? First Wednesday of every month 10PM till midnight
Describe the music you play in one short sentence: Magic.
What type of music can we expect to hear on your show? All forms of rock. Indie, indie rock and singer/songwriter.
How did you get into this type of music? Scott: My uncle told me to listen to “real” music and gave me an AC/DC album, then I was hooked.
How long have you been DJing? 2 hours, the length of our first show.
How did you start DJing? We both love our music and always wanted to share it, this seems the perfect way!
Can we find you DJing anywhere other than on Phonic FM? Nowhere else, unless you wanna come to the house and listen…
What has been your most embarrassing DJing moment? Our first show was going great, then with just 15 minutes left the mic cut out whilst we were speaking, 10 seconds of on air silence.
What has been your best DJing moment? Still waiting for that one moment to epitomise what it means to broadcast to people across the county!
Who is your favourite artist? Why?
Scott: Red Hot Chillies, because they are PURE GENIUS.
Russell: Oasis, because they were the first rock n’ roll band I heard and loved.
What is your all time favourite album? Why?
Scott: Red Hot Chillie Peppers – Californication. It was the first album I had ever owned.
Russell: Oasis – Definitely Maybe. because it’s pure genius, and the first proper album I ever owned.
Where do you shop for music in Exeter? Why? HMV or online. HMV is the only place in Exeter now really.
