Exeter Pride & The Pride Show on Phonic FM 2014

Continuing to grow year on year, Exeter Pride is back for a whole day and night of celebrations on Saturday 10th May 2014 , including a parade, stalls, workshops, music and various performances.

Listen to Phonic FM throughout the day for Pride news and information.

From 8 am to 10 am, Keri and Martin host THE PRIDE SHOW with guests and some great music and features for Pride Day.

Exeter will host the largest rainbow flag parade the city has seen as part of the biggest, free celebration of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities in the region.

Activities kick off with the parade at noon starting at Exeter City Football Ground’s Fountain Centre Car Park.

A full programme of events will be held at Exeter Phoenix from midday and will continue on into the evening. These include a family zone, a Victorian fair, a market place, a new health zone, the return of the popular drumming workshop, a Ceilidh (barn dance with Phonic FM’s Martin Hodge and famed band Going Steady) and panel debates. In addition there will be live entertainment from local bands and popular tribute acts plus DJs.

Some other venues throughout the city (including Gandy Street) will have Pride events and offers.

Exeter Pride is a FREE event, relying on the financial support of a number of local organisations and businesses including Exeter City Council.

Admission to some evening activities will be by wristband only, costing £3.
