If you’re looking to get into the jazz spirit this week, consider visiting The Monkey Suite this Sunday 6th April from 8pm for some lively sounds from The Locked Horns Jazz Orchestra.
The Locked Horns are a new 20+ piece jazz orchestra based in Exeter, but hailing from across the South West. The energetic group play a great range of music from across the ages, from Frank Sinatra to Jaco Pastorius and even a bit of James Bond to mix things up.
The group first got together in November 2013 & they’ve quickly built up a fantastic sound. Having been “really pleased” with the feedback from their first gig earlier this year with support from local charity Headway Devon, there is much excitement for their upcoming gig which promises to be another evening of cool jazz with even cooler cocktails.
The Locked Horns have been working on some vocal tunes over the past few weeks and will have even more new songs as well as some old favourites to throw down as they lock horns with you all once again.
