Elie Fruchter on film scores, 11 August

The Bike Shed Theatre – 11 August, 8pm – £5
(Tickets available from the box office and the door)

As part of the Dark Times season at the Bike Shed Theatre, classical pianist Elie Fruchter presents an evening of talk, music and visuals on film scores.

Elie says:

“One of my passions has always been film scoring. I have given talks at universities and music centres on the subject, analysing the use of music that enhances, reflects and creates mood with the moving image. I have also written my own arrangements for piano of certain scores. Film scoring is an art form that I feel is still not fully appreciated, given the crucial role it plays within a production.”

This event is presented by the Sound and Vision radio show on Phonic FM, raising funds for the station.
