| | John said: I would echo the last reply that when you turn it on you are never sure what you are going to hear. Might that be because they don't seem to have a schedule that works. I agree that there is a good selection of music but surely its a prerequisite of any radio station that you can find an accurate schedule. Basic stuff really. I turn on with hope, rather than certainty. Otherwise I agree, good music, but sort it out.
Thanks for your input. A few words by way of explanation: Phonic FM is run and staffed entirely by volunteers and as everyone gives their time for free it can be difficult to make sure the schedule always runs smoothly. If someone doesn’t turn up or can’t make their show for a week what can we do but find someone who can stand in for them. This may not necessarily be playing the same style of music but it is better than not having any live play-out. The schedule is also currently undergoing an overhaul and the new Phonic FM schedule will be unveiled soon. We know how frustrating it can be when you turn on the radio and it isn't what you expect but you never know you may hear something new that you actually quite like. In the mean time please bare with us as we are trying to make the schedule seem more organised but the station is still in its infancy, as I said earlier everyone does it for free and we are in the process of swapping to a new programming schedule. |

| | Of course it is!! So many different types of music all in one place. What I love is that I can turn my radio on and never be sure of what I'm going to get but know that it'll always be good! |
