Hello folks!  Hope all y'all had a great Christmas.  The 'holidays' (shouldn't that be spelled 'holly'?) are nearly over, so why don't you see the old year out – well a day early anyway – and the new year in with some wall-to-wall blues, roots and good time music on Phonic FM on Wednesday 30th December 2009 at 6PM GMT (1pm Eastern; 12 noon Central …Oh you work the rest out!) 

This show will be a sort of review of 2009, both historically and musically and will include music from Big Bill Broonzy (now there's a surprise), Geoff Muldaur, Tom Doughty, Dave Arcari and of course the wonderful Joanne Shaw Taylor. There will, of course be much more than that, and you are encouraged to join in the fun by emailing me in the studio at studio@phonic.FM while I am on air. That should get you a 'shout out' and will make me feel not so alone in the studio.  Altogether now “Awwwwh”
